In my last blog post we checked out menswear-inspired fall styles from our Jeffrey Campbell Fall collection. Today let's take a look at some of the more feminine fall styles, in a material almost synonymous with the season -- suede!
Some more Jeffrey Campbell exclusives for Ma Petite Shoe include the Leigh (1) and the Ladylike; two wedges in beautiful wine-hued suede that are dying to host a holiday party. Torch (2), also available in taupe, is another lightweight wrapped wedge in soft suede that’s peppered with droplet shaped cutouts.
We cannot forget our other richly-colored suede shoes: Davies (3), a vixeny licorice-hued platform pump, and Bergman, a deep navy wedge with delicate cutouts and a square toe. Other unique details include a high back and a Mary Jane strap with a circular buckle.
Overall it looks like we’ll be storing our platforms this Fall in favor of some more refined shapes and feminine styles. Details are classic and mostly vintage-inspired: moderate wedge heights, T-straps and Mary Jane straps, and solid colors. Cutouts and rounded-square toes modernize these elegant styles that demand daily wear.
