Ma Petite Shoe's local favorites Double Premium Confections are back for Valentine's Day, and this February, they've whipped up a delectable gift set of some of our most loved truffles and caramels. With exotic flavors like Lavender, Honey Vanilla, Irish Cream and Earl Grey, the beautiful hand-painted and crafted truffles are sure to win the heart of your lovely locavore. The Signature Collection truffles are available in boxes of 9 or 18 pieces.

The Caramel Collection is an equally delicious offering, featuring a variety of 9 caramels with flavors such as honey and smoked sea salt caramel. Myself and other members of the Ma Petite Shoe staff recently sampled the Black Truffle Caramel, also included in the collection, and had plenty to say about the uncommon flavor profile. As someone who is not usually a huge mushroom fan, this caramel has transcended my bias. It is very earthy and savory, with a chewy, yummy caramel center.

"You can really taste the truffle oil. It's really unexpected, stronger truffle flavor and a-m-a-z-i-n-g."
