Wild For Fall!

Our Jeffrey Campbell Fall collection is rich with classic textures,
with the occasional curveball that really makes a Jeffrey shoe.

The standout shoe of the Fall collection is Damsel, a towering 6.5” platform wedge bootie.  Its gorgeous whiskey-colored leather is paneled with an exclusive-to-us cat-print tapestry you’ll recognize from one of our best-selling shoes from last season, the epic flatform Beebee.  The Baltimore Sun featured it a few months ago, and soon it will be back in store by popular demand.   These serious shoes take the idea of “animal print” to a new level!

Speaking of which, my personal pick from this collection, paws down, is Bengal. As soon as it arrived in store, I kicked off my wedges to try them on, and promptly adopted them. I don’t typically wear flats, but the cat-lover in me can’t resist an earthy brown suede one with a rhinestone-eyed leather appliqué of a tiger face.  And he’s lucky to have a playmate on our shelves: Jacob is a supple metallic leather slip-on with a fierce little snow leopard face. Imp, another exclusive design for us, is another of my favorites for Fall.  Obviously I’m crazy about animal prints; so this combination of textured leathers (black lizard and tan ostrich), plus a cute double tassel tail, makes this pointy-toed flat the perfect new pet. Hedy is another beautiful creature: Jeffrey brings the 1920s-reminiscent heel into the modern age with subtly scaly snakeskin-patterned color-blocked leather.

Jeffrey's quirky take on animal prints is a perfect way to transition into Fall.  And next week I'll tell you all about another big trend in Jeffrey Campbell's new collection.  Until then, you should stop by the store to meet these new creatures, or shop online anytime at mapetiteshoe.com.
